Blam! is a service that protects any web based form against post spam.

Post Spam. What's that? Also known as 'Comment Spam' It's a trick that spammers and other tricksters use to promote their product or to try to get their web sites a better ranking in search engines such as Yahoo or Google.
By adding spam laden posts to random blogs or web forums they increase the chances that their site will get visited by users and web search engines.

How does Blam help? Blam! comes to the rescue by screening the data that people submit in real time as it's being sent. In web speak these submissions are called 'posts'. Blam scans the content of each post and quickly determines if the content is suspicious. Then it's up to you how the post is handled. Blam allows you to take various actions such as reject the post, showing an error page or even quarantining it for later inspection.

Sounds great but is it hard to implement? Blam is designed to be quick and easy to use and doesn't require any software or hardware to be installed. A simple piece of JavaScript is added to your form and the rest is taken care of autmatically. Blam accepts the post, checks it then either passes it to the original destination or takes your chosen action. Easy!
