Additional information

This engine is not turned on by default.
If you activate the new engine, Unicode support becomes available for searches.
You will also see improvements in search response time, particularly with large databases.

Note: Activating the alternate search engine forces Domino to re-build the indices for all databases that are currently indexed.
If the parameter is later removed from the notes.ini file, all indices will again be rebuilt in their original R5 format.
